Lutheran Social Services (LSS) Group, Inc., is owned and operated by the Upstate New York Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, incorporated in 1968 to operate social service agencies and programs on the territory of the Synod. It is a multifaceted program serving the needs of youth with special problems, the aged who need skilled nursing care, the well-elderly whose lives can be more comfortable and fulfilling through apartment living and the developmentally disabled adult.

Lutheran Social Services is a dynamic comprehensive agency capable of meeting the concerns of troubled young people, healthy retirees, and the aging in need of loving, professional care. Throughout all divisions, Lutheran Social Services provides a comfortable, secure campus setting, a highly qualified staff, and a mission to uphold each individual's identity and dignity. With a team approach to providing multi-disciplinary care to it's residents, Lutheran Social Services employs more than 500 fully licensed care-givers and support staff.
