In 1967 it became evident that residents needs were increasing. The desire to meet the care needs of the residents compelled the Board of Lutheran Social Services to plan for construction of an infirmary. Many prayers were answered when Mrs. Marguerite Hultquist donated a sum for the construction of an infirmary as a memorial to her husband, Earle O. Hultquist. Our residents that resided in the Hultquist Infirmary now live on the second floor of Building C.
