To protect the health and safety of residents within a structured environment. Communication skill, both verbal and written, are essential to this position. Hours are 1:00pm-11:00pm. Qualifications: High school diploma, AA preferred, New York State driver's license, child care work experience is preferred. |
| GAFS: Nightwatch Counselor: To provide a safe and secure environment for residents during the night watch shift in the female unit. Hours are 11pm-9am. Qualifications: High school diploma, New York State driver's license, experience working with adolescents. |
| GAFS: Senior Child Care Counselor: Full Time Position to assist the Treatment Coordinator to plan and implement department procedures and case planning activities. In addition, this person assumes shift supervision responsibilities and serves the primary liaison with the activities and family service work departments. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to this position. Qualifications: Associate’s Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, documented previous child care work experience, valid NYS Driver’s License, basic computer skills. |
| GALC: Teacher Full-time position. Teaching special education youth, ages 12-17, who are CSE classified as learning disabled or educationally, emotionally disturbed in a residential setting. This is a 12 month program, 8:25am-3:15pm weekdays. Salary is negotiable. Qualifications: Departmental - Bachelor's Degree plus SED special education certification or in process. Valid NYS Driver's License. Previous experience with adolescents. |
