RSVP
Chautauqua County RSVP provides persons, 55 years of age or older, the opportunity to volunteer their time, talents, and expertise to non-profit agencies throughout Chautauqua County to address critical community needs. A corps of 900 volunteers dedicate their enthusiasm and life experiences
donating over 135,000 volunteer hours annually.

Someone in Chautauqua County has a need, someone else has a solution,
and it's RSVP's purpose to bring them together.

RSVP volunteers throughout Chautauqua County provide services in many settings and in many ways. The matches can be challenging, but it's the goal of the program to place volunteers where they are most happy and feel productive - each placement being given special attention to the volunteer's interests and preferences.

RSVP volunteers become a vital community resource
and serve a major role in the daily operation of many programs such as:
  • Chautauqua County Nutrition Sites
  • St. Susan's Soup Kitchen
  • Meals On Wheels
  • Tutoring for "special needs children"
  • Thrift Stores
  • Blood Drives
  • Hospitals - Nursing Homes - Adult Care Centers
  • Tax Counseling for seniors
  • Trained assistants to those who need assistance with health insurance
  • Ombudsmen
  • Senior and Lawmen Together

  • Daycare Center - Head Start Programs
  • Community Support Services for the Blind or Sight Impaired

    RSVP opportunities are endless and everyone has something to contribute.
