Supervised Independent Living Program
- Supervised Independent Community Housing
The Supervised Independent Living Program (SILP) provides a transitional experience from a residential program to an independent adult living situation. The program promotes those skills and attitudes which are essential for youth to develop into fully functioning citizens of the community. The youth may reside in this program for up to 18 months.
- Staff Support Services
Staff continues to provide counseling and supportive services to the youth.
- Religious Programming
Youth are encouraged to attend local churches of their denominational background.
- Eligibility
Youth must be l6 or older, have a permanency goal of independent living. Youth are expected to be attending school and/or employed the equivalent of full-time.
